Student Superstore’s Summer Competition
Brief
Design the front and back page of a new Magazine or Newspaper that is aimed at students.
The front and back page content should include stories, reviews, products, etc. The theme and design is completely up to you but remember your target audience is students. You can target a specific student age range if you wish. Please make this age range clear when submitting your entry.
Prize
The winner will receive an Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection Student and Teacher Edition licence worth £520.00 (INC VAT). (Mac or Windows depending on the preferred platform). 2nd and 3rd place will receive a Wowee One portable speaker worth £49.99 (INC VAT) http://www.studentsuperstore.com/wowee/default.aspx
Criteria
Your designs must be put together using Adobe Design Standard Software. The Adobe Design Standard CS5.5 suite contains
Adobe Photoshop® CS5 Extended
Adobe Illustrator® CS5
Adobe InDesign® CS5.5
Adobe Acrobat® X Pro
We suggest you use Adobe InDesign to layout your design professionally for print.

File requirement and entry
Work should be submitted in PDF or JPEG format and e-mailed to sales@studentsuperstore.com. In the subject line please write “Summer Competition Entry.”
In the body of the e-mail please include a brief description of your Newspaper/Magazine indicating if it is targeted at a certain age range of students and why you think students will enjoy reading it. Please also include your contact details and proof that you are currently in education, either as a student, teacher or staff member.
Deadline
All entries must be received by August 31 2011. The Winners will be announced on the news page of www.studentsuperstore.com.

The following people will select 3 designs to go into the final
